office. The website will provide important information regarding the
operations, document requirements, and the searching of records.
The Recorder’s office is vital to every property owner in Madison County.
The primary responsibility of this office is to record all documents
transferring land in order to establish legal ownership and protect your rights.
In addition, we maintain documents vital to U.S. Veterans, mortgages, liens, as well as many other
important documents.
The Recorder’s office is committed to providing the highest quality of customer service
while running an efficient office for the taxpayer. We strive for most documents to be officially
recorded within 24 hours of receiving them and returning the original back to its owner within 5
business days.
