Mission Statement:
The mission of the Madison County Veterans Commission is to provide
needed services exclusively to Honorably discharged Military Veterans
and their families who reside in Madison County. The Veterans
Assistance Commission works closely with all Veterans Organizations
as well as Local, State and Federal agencies to insure the rights
that each Veteran is entitled to have been granted. Services
include interim and or emergency financial assistance, a jobs
program for the unemployed, laid-off and transitioning Veterans and
administrative service work and advocacy.
The Veterans Assistance Commission of Madison County provides
services for approximately 30,000 Madison County Veterans.
