Circuit Judge
Judge Knight was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After being drafted and serving two years of active duty in the United States Army, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Greenville College and his Juris Doctorate from Washington University. Judge Knight engaged in the general private practice of law in Greenville, Illinois for several years before being elected Bond County State’s Attorney in January of 1983. Judge Knight served as the Bond County State’s Attorney for 18 years. He was elected Bond County Resident Circuit Judge in 2000 and was retained circuit-wide in 2006 and 2012. He currently serves as the Presiding Judge in Bond County.
