Mesothelioma Veterans Outreach

United States Military veterans make up over 30% of all patients with malignant mesothelioma, caused by exposure to asbestos.  Learn more about your benefits options with our VA0accredited claims agents, all free of charge.

Connecting wounded warriors, service members, veterans, their Families and Caregivers with those who support them.  Register as  a community provider and/or browse local resources.

 Veterans Crisis Line

Connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring VA responders. Veterans and their loved ones can call  1-800-273-8255 and Press 1.

 VA Health Care

The VA Enrollment Website is the fastest and easiest way to apply for VA care or update information.  1-877-222-VETS (8387)

 My health e-vet

My HealtheVet is the VA's Personal Health Record. It was designed for Veterans, Servicemembers, their dependents and caregivers. When you register on
My HealtheVet, you gain access to tools that can help you track and monitor your health.
 

 VA Caregiver Support

Provides support for caregivers of Veterans and information about services that may be available to them.  1-855-260-3274

 
  Coaching into Care
   

A VA service to help family members and friends help a   Veteran seek VA care. Callers get information on VA services and coaching on talking about treatment needs with the Veteran in their  lives. 1-888-823-7458

 
  Help for Homeless Veterans
   

Each VA medical center has a homeless coordinator and programs that help Veterans establish or maintain safe, stable housing. Call  VA’s National Call Center for Homeless Veterans (1-877-424-3838), a toll-free hotline available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

 Women Veterans Call Center

Women Veterans hotline—1-855-VA-WOMEN (1-855-829-6636)—an incoming call center that receives and responds to questions from women   Veterans, their families, and caregivers across the nation about available VA services and resources.

   Moving Forward

 
A free, online educational and life coaching program and companion mobile app that will help Veterans manage life’s challenges.

PDST App
   

Learn to manage symptoms that commonly occur after trauma using the PTSD Coach app. Includes information on PTSD, treatments, tools for screening and tracking symptoms, skills to help users, and direct links to support and help.

 
  PTSD App
   

A variety of Companion Apps have been developed by VA and are available to be used along with professional care provided by a trained clinician and other mobile apps for self-help.

 Smoke Free Vet

SmokefreeVET is a mobile text messaging service for military Veterans who receive their health care through VA. The program was   created to provide 24/7 encouragement, advice, and tips to help smokers quit   smoking and stay quit. It is a 6 to 8 week program.

A toolkit that supports Veterans seeking work and also   helps employers support their employees who are Veterans and members of the Reserve and National Guard.
