The Holidays are here and the Circuit’s Clerk Office Staff is in the spirit with a couple activities at the Courthouse.

 Donations

For the second consecutive year, the staff are collecting donations of new or gently used children’s coats and grocery store gift cards to help support laid off steelworkers with the help of S.O.A.R. (Steelworks Organization of Active Retirees) this Holiday season.

“The families and individuals we are helping have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own,” said Madison County Circuit Clerk Mark Von Nida.  “We are glad we can help brighten the Holidays for some of those who are less fortunate here in the County.”

Coats and gift cards can be dropped off at the Circuit Clerk’s Office in the Madison County Courthouse from now until Tuesday, December 19th.

 Cubicle Decorating Contest

Staff members are decking their cubicle this week with decorations and themes of their choice.  Each division of the Circuit Clerk’s Office will select one winner.  Next week, we will post photos of the four finalists to the Circuit Clerk’s Facebook page and the photo with the most LIKES on the original post will be the office wide winner.  Find our Facebook page at Facebook.com/MadisonCountyCircuitClerk/

 Holiday Office Closings

The Courthouse and Circuit Clerk’s Office will be closed Monday, December 25, 2017 and Monday, January 1, 2018 for the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.
