*Planning for 2020 Recycling Events is Currently Underway*
As part of the County's Sustainability Program, the Planning and Development Department periodically hosts free, one-day recycling collections for Madison County residents. These events provide an opportunity to recycle or properly dispose of waste that cannot be handled through curbside pick-up programs, including household hazardous waste and electronic waste. Please browse the sections below for information on upcoming events.
Please note that while all of our events are free for Madison County residents, appointments are required. Please use the booking bar at the top of this page, or the direct registration links listed in the event sections below, to reserve your spot.
Madison County E-Waste Collections
Madison County, in partnership with the Illinois EPA, hosts several electronics recycling collections annually at various locations throughout the county.
