Madison County Centennial Monument Rededication

On Saturday September 15, 2012 the Madison County Centennial Monument in Edwardsville's City Park was rededicated. The monument, a gift from the State of Illinois to the people of Madison County in recognition of the County's 100th anniversary in 1912, was placed in City Park because the County did not have space for the Georgia white marble monument.

The Centennial Monument was recently restored through a restoration project funded by grants obtained by Madison County and the City of Edwardsville.
